Runewright question

I really like this career but have a query concerning the Glyph Trap. I lay my trap on an unoccupied area out of view... are the victim or victims automatically affected? Do they get a roll to avoid or reduce the damage? If I lay the same trap in an occupied space and the person is aware of it... does that person save? Do I need to roll to hit?

Generally speaking, affecting unwilling targets requires an attack roll. In this case, the Runewright's LOG check serves as the attack roll. For area tacks, you just make one attack roll and compare it to all targets.
