AddThis bar is blocking the text of front page articles

Whenever I open one of the front page articles, an "AddThis" bar floats over the leftmost part of the text, blocking some of the words. I can minimize the bar, but the moment I scroll down it automatically folds open again.

I'm seeing this bar in Chrome and Edge, but not in IE.

Is there a way to permanently get rid of this thing? It's annoying enough that I'm considering using an add blocker to filter it.

I'm having the same issue. Chrome and Firefox, but not IE. It's very annoying.
