Monkplayer

Villager
Here are the questions you can help me answer before submitting my monster for publication on January 10;

1) Are all the stats correct? They have to be.
2) Is this a CR 10 monster? It has to be.
3) Does the description and mechanics compliment the flavor text?

It appears as an indistinct doppelganger in its natural form, but with a greenish hue skin and muscular build. This shapechanger delights in its unpredictability spawning fear, and confusion wherever it goes. It relishes the opportunity to sow chaos whenever it shapechanges into one of it’s terrifying forms.

Defense Spun by Chaos. The ever changing form of the Predathon makes it very difficult to find any way to thwart its seemingly impenetrable defenses, but it does have a secret vulnerability!

Shapechanging Chaos The Predathon’s shapechanging is at will (free action) up to 5 times a day (if it chooses) into one category larger of equal CR. Each shapechange is fueled by the nature of chaos so it must be chosen randomly; roll a d6 and choose; Algorith, Bone Swarm, Demon (Rubezahl), Devil (Automata), Fear Smith, or Golem (Salt). It can’t shapechange into a second form until a short rest. Once it transforms, it gains all the new hit points, abilities, skills, class, race, languages, saves, and spells, if applicable and able. The Predathon does not regain any of its original abilities when shapechanged. If it’s reduced to 0 hit points, then the creature is returned to its original form with any extra damage added to the original form’s hit point total. The Predathon can choose whether to hold, drop, or wear equipment while shapechanging. If wearing equipment then it will function as normal. The GM can choose if it’s practical to wear or use the equipment. When reverting back to normal form it reverts back to its previous hit points, plus any current added damage. The Predathon is still vulnerable to thunder damage regardless of the new shape’s abilities.

Defensive Chaos
The predathon has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Seduction by Chaos
The predation has advantage on Charisma (Deception), and Wisdom (Perception, Insight) checks.

Innate Spellcasting. The predathon’s innate spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save 16), +8 to to hit with spell attacks. It can cast the following spells without needing spell components.

Chaos Confusion
Constant: confusion (always centered on the predathon with 10’ radius), detect thoughts.

ACTIONS
Multiattack. The predathon can make three claw attacks. Melee weapon attack: +8 to hit, reach 5’., 1 creature. Hit 16 (2d12+4) slashing damage.

Chaos’s Embrace (Recharge 4-6).
You bring a ferocious amorphous attack spun from the raw power of chaos faster than a blink. You can use a single attack action ability (requires recharge ability) from any creature
