Description & History:
Xiskrin had an uneventful childhood, raised amongst his somewhat cold and militaristic brethren. After he started spending time with the tribe's weaponsmith he adopted some of the older hobgoblin's thought patterns, becoming distant from his siblings. The methods of critical thinking and analysis were shown to him and he embraced them wholeheartedly, and in doing so shunned the normal moral stance taken by others of his kind. While growing up he focused his martial training in the use of the rapier. Though he wasn't looked down upon by others for this (he wielded his weapon of choice with considerable skill), they were surprised by his choice.
During a dark period of time in the tribe's history, Xiskrin made the choice to leave. His people were rife with internal conflict thus he felt the need to get away from it all; to travel. He has never regret leaving that place, and takes enjoyment in wherever his long journey takes him. He has met Krog on a number of previous occasions, their paths seeming to intersect here and there for a number of reasons. Xiskrin enjoys the company of the bugbear warrior, finding comfort that he's not the only goblinoid in the world who encountered difficulties living with his own kind.
Vaul, the magic rapier, came into Xiskrin's possession somewhere along the way. A tale he is yet to tell.
