One of my PC has brought himself a warhorse and I'm having problems in thinking of name for it. Can you guys help out? Thanks.

in the time it took me to go in the other room and get my copy of "A Dictionary of Muslim Names", Djeta comes in and posts a link to that fine website.

Thank you! That was a big help. It's either going to be Anid which means stubborn or Az raf which means elegant. I think Anid fits the heavy warhorse better.

I was going to suggest the Arabic equivalent of "traveler" but I don’t know Arabic nor could I find it upon the list... If some knows I would be curious to know...

Wow... visiting that website was like seeing my family tree....

mostly all the same names just in a different order... very freaky from my perspective!

But I already knew what my own name meant, so no big surprise there...

"Al-Masaafir" would work.
