**EDIT** never mind, I think I've managed to track down the answer, and embarrassingly quickly once I searched for 'technician'. Could a mod please delete this thread, I can't for the life of me find the button.
Book 2 features some Ob technicians who have magic which weakens over time, causing them to 'fade into the Bleak Gate'- presumably while taunting their PC captors.
Could anyone either explain to me how this 'fade away' ability works, or link me to the page/book that does? I'm having a devil of a time tracking it down.
This is going to be important for my next game as the party is hoping to catch Creed early, and I'm trying to determine if he has this 'fade away' ability.
