Post Cyberpunk suggestion

The initial title was : Transhuman space vs Eclipse Phase

I would like to buy one for the setting (only) because I'm not planning any rpg game within the next year. Though, I love "fluff" content so my imagination is ignited somehow; it helps me fighting depression as well, not sure why though.

Which one would you suggest for this timeperiod (post cyberpunk I would say) ? Or something else ? I got Cyberpunk already (played it back in the '90 and just bought it again a few weeks ago) and I don't like magic in my scifi (sorry Shadowrun).

Posthuman studios are working in the second edition Eclipse Phase. This is a game where total kill party can happen and to be success for the players (if the sacrifice was worth). The fluff, the lore, is right, and the crunch, the item, the wet dream by a munchkin, but I am not used to the stats, and menaces can be worse than Resident Evil and Terminator together.

About cyberpunk.... the sci-fi is a genre what get older really bad.

Yeah, I was thinking about the 2nd edition of Eclipse Phase but it seems there's no much info about that release, is it in limbo state?
