Jariah was not sure what she had seen that bit Suldrel, other than it was rat-like. “Are you okay, Suldrel?”

She gave a mental command to her eidolon to move in closer.

“Hey! There is another rat or something in here too!” She yelled towards the open front door of the home.

“Be careful, Elsbeth, it disappeared into the wall.”

Casting a Cantrip, Jariah provided some magical assistance to aid Jakira’s next attack.

Jakira moved up to stand beside Suldrel prepared to bite the critter. “Wherrre is it?”

Wireth rushes in as he realizes something has attacked, though the complete lack of an apparent opponent flummoxes him. He grits his teeth, double axe held at the ready.

Sachiko looks back at Fastus, a faint frown having stolen over her face.

"Sorry...right. Do anything. You can do that, but only after... Do you hear anything? It sounds like Jariah shouting about rats again."

Suldrel makes a face when the rat bites him but otherwise he appears unfazed, nodding to Jariah. The elf grips his polearm and looks for an opening or hole to jab the spike in to.

"Only after... what?" pressed the young man, hanging on the edge of his improvised seat. Rats could wait: this was IMPORTANT stuff!

Sachiko looks back at Fastus, a faint frown having stolen over her face.
"Sorry...right. Do anything. You can do that, but only after... Do you hear anything? It sounds like Jariah shouting about rats again."
"Only after... what?" pressed the young man, hanging on the edge of his improvised seat. Rats could wait: this was IMPORTANT stuff!

The odd rat does not show itself for now but Suldrel's wound continues to bleed (1 damage).

"I see nothing. Are you certain you were bitten by something and didn't simply injure yourself on a sharp object?" she calls out.

"Hold on a second," says Sachiko, "I want to see what's going on!"

She darts out to the door of the cabin and yanks it open.

"Everything all right?" she demands!
