(Once again I put stuff in the wrong forum. Redirecting here from General.)
I'm brewing a Warlock sub-class. Is imposing Disadvantage on all rolls for up to 1 minute (Concentration) with no saving throw, 1/long rest, too powerful for a lvl 14 capstone?
Allowing a saving throw feels like it makes it too weak, compared to other capstones. After all, it doesn't directly hurt them. (If they get to make a saving throw I'd much rather hurl them through the planes for 10d10.)
What if it's with a saving throw, but no Concentration required, and usable more than 1/long rest? (1/short rest? CHA mod/long rest?)
How about using Cha for the save? Does that make it better or worse?
