So I'm planning a new campaign, set in the Twilight Imperium (the FFG board game) universe. The intention is to build game sessions like a TV show; so a short pre-credit intro In Media Res, followed by the theme song (and explanation of why the PCs are in that particular situation), then the game officially starts, sometimes catching-up to the intro, sometimes with a "three days before" kind to flashback with the intro finally making sense toward the middle or the end of the game session.
The idea is to introduce and move the action quickly yet giving as much player agency as possible, sort of a railroad intro followed by a sandbox type of game.
All that to say, I want a theme song or music to play after the pre-credit intro. Ideally something with some oomph and not something already identifiable to a recognizable sci-fi franchise (like the Star Trek or Star Wars theme for example), but at this point I'm open to all suggestions.
