Mass Fly.

Whats better than a flying, Improved Invis. Wizard? 1/level flying, Improved Invis. Wizards, plus bodyguards. :D

Cloudkill can be pretty useful, too.

Maybe I need to reread it, but I passed up Ghost Form. What's so broken about it?

[EDIT] If kreynolds would just show up we could have ourselves another highjack here. :) [/EDIT]

Ghostform. IMO, one of the most broken spells in the game.

Wow. I just reread the description of Ghostform. That is pretty powerful. I think I want to change my vote... :D

Basically, you can fly. You can only be hit with magical weapons and spells, and even those have a 50% chance to miss you. You can pass through objects as if you were incorporeal. Also, you gain an AC bonus equal to your Charisma modifier (always at least +1).

Unfortunately, you lose all armor and natural armor bonuses. You can't make physical attacks against anything on the material plane, unless you are using a Ghost Touch weapon. You have no effective Strength score, so you use your Dex for melee attacks. And your touch spells don't affect those on the material plane.

But are those drawbacks really drawbacks? Do most wizards and sorcerors really get into melee range? Do most wizards use melee weapons? The limited touch ability it a bit of a drawback, but most wizards ought to have plenty of non-touch spells.

And the ability to both fly and pass through objects, coupled with a duration of 1 min/level means that it's also really useful outside of combat.

Speaking of ghost form, check out James Wyatt's campaign journals (follow the link from the ENWorld News page). In there he mentions that his group decided that ghost form should be 7th level, not 5th.
