Feylight and Dragonbreath is a 4E setting I am thinking about critique
please. I am going to start with the state of the world
State of the World
Tension rise as the Empires of Nayavar(Elven) and Ashkoria(Dragonborn)
as they once again spread there influence into the plains of Imolien(human and halfling)
there neighbors across the plains Morthan(Dwarven) and Bael Turath
(Teifling) will inevdibly be drawn into the conflict Bael Turath out of fear of
the Eladrins who rule Nayavar and greed which Ashkoria is willing to sate.
Dardardin out of loyalty and expansion intrest as there mountain home
become more Crowded.
Political Bodies
Council of Stars(Eladrin/Elven): The Elves long ago made a pact with the
stars this pact turned some of the elves into Eladrin making a covenant
with the stars never to use there powers aganist there race. to keep the
covenant the Eladrin elected a Council the Council then votes from
among themseleves to Elect two Consuls one reigning in Spring and Summer and the other in Fall and Winter every so often there is a
transient season this is the the time when both Consuls rule together.
During the rule of one Consul the other goes to the Feywild to report to
the Superior Eladrins who help prepare the Consul for there rule in the next season.
Apprentinces of the Stars(Eladrin/Elven): This organzation was begun by
the current Consul Elisandre (Spring/Summer) she herself drawing power
from the stars to gain Eldricth power she has gather a group of Eladrin and
Elves to teach them these powers and is the only inter racial group
besides the army in Nayavar.
Priest of Karis(Dragon Born): Plague and natural disasters ended the
second incarnation of Ashkoria Civil war broke out between it's regional
districts and suffering came and with it the Great Red Wyrm Karis
gathering Dragonborn by claiming at first that he was servant of bauhmant
and later that he was a deity Karis was able to reforge Ashkoria and place
himself as god. making anyone who served him faithfully his priest which
are know the most potent political body in Ashkoria.
Claws of Justice(Dragon Born): The military wing of Karis Faith those
warriors whom show Faith in Karis and are Shown how to draw power
from it. they are the most recigonizible symbol of Ashkoria Today.
Black Circle(Teifling): The Emperor of Bael Turath placed a Council of
infernal Barons, Duchesses and other nobles underneath him to distract
them from trying to take his thrown but the Council does have real power
although they seldom agree upon anything so they can't use it.
