As a heads up to all my DM's and players, I'll be heading out into the great Canadian wilderness for vacation for 10 days. As one can expect being in the wilderness, wireless access isn't available so I'll be cut off from communication and posting for that timeframe.

Sorry for the delay in getting this up, I've been swamped at work and forgot to post it until now.

Yes there's very few creatures that I'd be more afraid of meeting than a bear. They can outrun me, outclimb me and outswim me... I just need to carry my rifle with a lightbulb at the end of it to ensure my safety. (Thanks John Candy )

That flick was great. Although I hear that pepper spray is extremely effective as bear repellant. Not that you really ever want to be close enough to use it...but better than nothing.

Enjoy, good luck, and make enough noise that the bears will hear you coming and know you're a human, and they will run away. Don't run... And don't sleep with your food.

This is actually more for everyone else than you Ren, as I'm sure you have either done this before, or in your fear of bears, have looked it up.
