VTR Demons of Bourbon Street ((Recruiting))

This is a Vampire the Requiem game set in the streets of New Orleans. Most will take place in the famous French Quarter.

Characters are standard new embraces.
Sire is whoever you want, and from anywhere in the world. Be creative.
Humanity is 7 at start.
You may be any clan, any bloodline, and any covenant.
You start at covenant 1 though.
You cannot however be a member of VII.
Characters have choice of one street accessable weapon. Please be reasonable. You can have things like a katana or such, but please pass it by me.

Also remember this is New Orleans, people don't walk around with claymores and katanas. Nor do they tote full-automatics without attracting some mounted police.


We will start when we get 2 players, after that anyone can join. Let this campaign snowball out of control!

Politics:

The city has known a stable structure under the newest Prince, new in the aspect of vampire time, having taken the throne only 92 years ago.

Prince Netzach is an Israeli vampire having come from the line of David carries himself with the nobility of a king. A Ventru of the Invictus he's not afraid to crush opposition should he need to. He is an unparalled swordsmen having more on one occasion in the 80's killed a dozen ghouls oufitted like a SEALS team.

The Prince has parceled off the city to the covenants.

Invictus control of French Quarter.
Lancea Sanctum has Garden District.
Carthians have Uptown.
Crone control the 9th ward.
Ordo Dracul control Downtown

However these political trappings are only for feeding grounds and in no way pose as inaccessable place. All but the Invictus barely track their grounds. It would seem Bourbon Street is heavily guarded by Invictus, and many vampire found their last moments in flames down an alleyway when no one was looking.

The city however is much like how it's always been. A beautiful blend of creole and other accents.

Invictus:
Prince Netzach- Ventrue, some believe Malkovian
Lord Dethias, Primogen- Gangrel from Greece

Circle of Crone:
Primogen Horus- Egyptian Nosferatu
High Sorceror Kali- Indian Burakumin
((little is known of the far detached Crone of the 9th ward. Except that they dabble in the dark arts of Voodoun))

Ordo Dracul:

Carthian:
Primogen Hargrove- Malkovian with a penchant for music. Little is known of this man except that most of the Carthian of New Orleans are his childer. It seems he does things simply for the sake of seeing what it will bring.

Lancea Sanctum:
Primogen Ezekial- A french born Brujah found often in the St. Charles Cathedral
Paladin Juan Valdez- The sworn guardian of the Garden District. Many believe his fighting prowess rivals Netzach's, many having gone as far as to bet on the outcome in chances that it should one day happen. His eyes miss nothing in his beloved district, and he will kill anyone in a flash if they cross him.

Unnaligned:
Ethos- Uknown Origin and Bloodline. A flesh weaver often found frequenting the 9th ward. Has killed many vampire who have tried to stop him from kidnapping people at night.

try to lean towards a core book char, but variety is the spice of roleplaying.

as an aside to everyone. Vampire society is very paranoid. If you're too alien to them, they will kill you out of suspicion and fear.

My as-yet unnamed vampire is a Daeva of the Circle of the Crone. Concept-wise, he is a jazz musician from the 1930s and is still trying to live the life of someone from the 1930s (no cell phone, has an old car, etc). I suppose part of his character arc will be bringing him into the modern era. His major skills are Expression (Jazz Music), Occult (Cruac), and Persuation (Seduction). His disciplines are Cruac 1 and Majesty 2.

I'll post some more when I have time to work it out.

idk why they frown on it. i wanted a pc who works in the tavern keeping things fabulous.

I'm bi-polar, or at least borderline disorder according to my shrink. So I'm most realistic to G-d in my eyes as being a DM. that makes me most capable of roleplaying.

A single change in emotions and I can smite whole worlds just like Hachem.
