I agree, but it would be a good idea to drum up interest. Ater all didn't Episode II come out in 2001?

Sigh...

I'm enough of a fanboy that I'll buy the set--I'll cop to that--but I'm not happy about it.

I don't want the so-called Special Edition on DVD. I want my original, uncorrupted trilogy, with none of this "Greedo shoots first and couldn't hit the broad side of a planet" nonsense.

Whimper.

I totally agree, I want the ORIGINAL trilogy, without the changed lines. But I'll probibly still buy it. FYI: Clanes came out last summer, 2002. The more I think about it, the more I think Lucas will be putting them out, to drum up intrest for episode 3.

I'll probably buy this special edition, and try to get the original from China or something like that as well.

I am very "meh" on the whole original/special edition flap. It's all folderol and shilly-shallying, to my mind.
