Sealed In Blood - Prologue

Two centuries had passed since the celestial, Hyanda tel Seldarine had forged a pact with a fiend of unknown, but potent might. Less than two seconds had passed and he had shown up to collect his dues for a task which he cheated the Ghaele out of.

He didn't even bother to disguise his form, the huge-sized Pit Fiend towering even over the already tall eladrin, "The duration of allowance into your precious prime for my fellows has ended, now I claim my favour. "

Reaching out with an extended, but strong arm-rotten blue flesh clinging to its bones it holds out a clawed hand for Hyanda to take. The celestial grudgingly accepts, remembering their bargain and in a spark of crimson light they vanish.

Later...

Luz'Noc walks down the hallway, side by side with the tall Eladrin, both of them floating just above the floor. Hyanda is not bound in any sort of form or fashion, but he knows this "freedom" given to him is merely an illusion playing upon Hyanda's virtues by the fiend. They are within the hellish fortress of Luz'Noc, adrift upon the astral, far from any hope of rescue.

They reach the end of the seemingly endless corridor, as several doors in front of the pit fiend unlock themselves, the improved arcane locks letting them through effortlessly. This room, like one of many in the fortress, houses some of the strong warrior-souls that Luz'Noc had collected over the centuries. Green gems of exquisite and inexplicable beauty lie upon the several intricately carven pedestals that line the walls of the small room.

Just by standing there, Hyanda can see the variety of creatures stored within, he immediately recognizes the spell that traps them...a Minimus Containment of the Binding dweomer. On one side, inside the focuses the Eladrin notices several humans-or at least human looking figures, one of which is kneeling down in prayer at the time. At the very end of the next row the celestial notices something which strikes the core of his being, another source of evil-much like the pit fiend next to him...a hellfire dragon.

"It's amazing how much you all are different, and yet, how much all of you have in common. For things in common, let's start with how many favors everyone here owes me. You, may consider yourself lucky as you have a single favor to fulfill while all of these...creatures, have completed two tasks for me already." The fiend smiles, "These will be your...team mates in the following task at hand."

"Let's see how you all get along, why don't we? Come now, follow me."

As they walk out the door, a noticable click following them as they magically seal themselves, Luz'Noc and Hyanda enter another, more furnished room. It stands at about 30 x 30 ft. in a circle, with comfortable looking chairs and couches all around, but otherwise bare. The pit fiend invokes several spells-the Eladrin notices as a Summoning Pact, and all the creatures that were in the containers appear now inside the room. "You all have four minutes to converse amongst yourselves. Use this time wisely, familiarize yourselves...share opinions."

Mysliwy, in his tiefling form, feels the gaze of the fiend upon him for the briefest second, but only he seems to have noticed it. The pit fiend then leaves the room, closing the door behind him.

Meanwhile, Hyanda has long before turned his form into his more customary one, that of a tall grey elf wearing a priest's symbols of what some in the room may recognize as the Seldarine (elven) pantheon. However, all members of this group are from different worlds, and all are not necessarily accustomed to each one's perspectives...but that's what makes everything so interesting Luz'Noc thinks as he begins the second phase of his plan.

OOC-The game has begun :) PC's don't remember their last tasks, their memories were, let's say-erased.

Hyanda turns and observes those in his presence with his violet eyes, and platinum hair shakes as he does. Those who observe him closely notice he wears an old tattered backpack and grips an oaken staff in his hand, a pouch that presumably carries various spell components hangs from his waist.

In Common:
"Such powerful company I seem to find myself in, far to much for a humble priest such as myself, forgive me for almost forgetting to introduce myself, I am Timati, an elven priest of Corellon. Who are all of you? And do any of you know why I was brought here ? "

OOC- For those with true sight or similar, you see Hyanda exactly as described above since Sollir has a house rule allowing Outsiders to have 1 preferred form for every full 15 HD, which is basically just allows them to have a form they can polymorph/alter self/shapechange into as a disguise that can't be penetrated by non-epic magics. Edit- Sollir just informed that this is OOC information the only ones who know it in IC are Draco's character.

You all have seen Knights in shining armor before but the man standing beside the Pegasus in the room draws a sense of awe upon you. "I am Aedon Fairchylde" he says and the words flow from his mouth like liquid light. How this Paragon of Virtue came to be here is unknown but he stands a burning brazier of hope in this place of torment. He is human standing about 6'2" and weighing 200 pounds Long silver-white hair and a floppy mouth concealing mustache that hangs down past his chin on the ends. His warm blue eyes scan the room while he strokes the mane of his trusty mount.
Aedon's clothing is blue and white with platinum accents. he wear's no holy symbol.
"Calm DawnBlaze. I know this place disturbs you but what choice do we have?" He says to the glowing Pegasus. The creature is obviously part celestial it eyes glowing gold like a sun. She nickers and flicks her ears in distrust but shows no fear. Infact there is almost never a sense of fear when Aedon is nearby.

[OOC: I should point out that Aedon is detecting evil on the people here.]

Leaning aginst the far wall from Timati... a tall humaniod stands... his hair a light blue-green color and his skin seems a rippling dark blue...... he is donned in a mirror finished platemail and holds a long trident of jade...... runes glow with a slight golden color from it as his swings the prongs back and forth in the air to amuse himself.....

At his feet 3 beings mill around.... one looks almost a formed goo being.... the other two look like small water elementals.....

Now noticing there are other people here in the room he actually looks intrested in something... could it be why he's here?

"I like adventure as much as the next elemental.... but can anyone answer me as to why we are all here?"

"I know no one has asked...but I know someone will soon..... my name is Domaskis of Tidus-Rath, half-water elemental, at your service!"

In shady corner of the room, a unnoticed dark figure is using a tindertwig that emits no light to lite what looks like a tiny piece of parchment that contains some tobacco leaf. Only when he expires a perfect circle of smoke and the sweet smell of his cigarette spreads in the room you actually notice him, as if he wasn't there before. He's clad in dark robes, with a glossy black mantle that seems to chase the light away, and a large elegant black and golden mask on his face.
He suddenly talks and he has a surprisingly young though chilling voice.
"You'd better be more careful with your names, my friends. Few people here are really interested in them, and the ones who are... you wouldn't like them to know. How interesting. Three people has spoken and we already have two liars. It looks like I finally found good company."
He turns with an icy look towards the elemental.
"At our service?" he laughs quietly, always in this disturbing and cold way. "If you're here, elemental, then you're bound in service to someone else. Someone who has no use for poor weak priests of Corellon. Isn't it so, wise one?"
He smiles ironically to the elven priest, before expiring smoke in his general direction.

Timati looks at the apparently unexpected arrival and casually blows the smoke aside.

In Common
" That makes my presence here all the more inexplicable then, why would someone want me here ? I certainly can't explain why. You however out of all of us seem to have the most grasp on whats happening care to explain to me, cunning one ? "

Turning his gaze on the paladin, Timati raises an eyebrow and bows slightly.

In Common
"Pleased to meet you Aedon, and you too DawnBlaze. "

Timati displays no evil.

Timati then turns to Damaskis

In Aquan
"A transcended human, a true pleasure to meet you, it has been a long while since I have seen one such as yourself. May the waves answer your call. "

He's sharp for someone who isn't there, the hellfire wyrm is almost certainly evil, there's a divine paladin here, and an elemental, what in Correlon's sacred name is Luz'Noc up to?

In Aquan to Timati
"Ahh... I'm finally able to speak to someone in my native tongue..... not many that I've seen recently can speak it.... and oddly enough no one wants to speak with me much as of late anyways.... it's like I posess something that scares people....."

In Common to the dark figure in the corner....
"If I have lied to you I am sorry... I know not what I have lied to you about seeing as I didn't even realise you were here more than a few moments ago....."

Domaskis turns his attention back to Timati for further conversation....

The Paladin smiles and says "A pleaseure to meet you Timati and Domaskis. She says Hello as well." He says patting his steed gently on the neck. "Forgive me my inability to speak your language Sir. My exposure to your people has been limited."

Aedon walks up to the stranger in the shadows. "And what would you be called 'Sir Has no name'?"

The shady man turns his gaze away from the elf.
"In this place, wise one, I'm sure you'll have plenty of time to learn what you don't know, and learn better what you already know."
He suddenly switch to aquan, as he answers Domaskis.
"No offence taken, my friend, as I said, I am in good company with liars, especially those who carry their burden of sins lightly as you do."
Then he walks toward the paladin, stopping a step away from him and nearly breathing smoke in his face, with icy politeness he answers in common: "If you truly wish to know, sir, you can call me Jack. Jack of Spades. If I may ask you a question too, sir, then why are you here? Visiting some old friend?"
