Scenario Writers Needed

Hi guys,

More writing opportunities for the Mongoose. . .

We are looking for 64 page scenarios for the Conan, Babylon 5, Lone Wolf and Starship Troopers RPGs. Compensation is three cents per word, payable within 30 days of the book's release or within six months of acceptance, whichever is sooner. Deadline is end of March.

Naturally, detailed knowledge of both the setting and the game system is essential. In the case of Starship Troopers, you will be expected to know the movies, the novel and the Roughnecks series - we'll supply a draft of the rules.

Are we talking adventure scenarios? Also, how many words do you generally publish per page?

Okay, according to the Mongoose Style Guide v3.0:

As of 06.08.04
The following is a style guide recommended for material submitted to Mongoose Publishing for publication. This document includes general format guidelines, as well as common mistakes to be avoided that have our editors constantly tearing their hair out!

• Word Count. While the above guideline of one and a quarter Word pages to one printed page is a standard, further to this a 32 page manuscript should roughly equate to 19,200 words. A 64 page book to 38,400 words and a 128 page book to 76,800 words.

As much as I would like to jump on this, I do not have an interest to do so at the present time. I'll have to see finished product before I do. I seem to remember Mongoose Publishing announcing four or three years ago that the Mongeese would not accept Adventure Submissions. So, I'll have to see finished product before I jump on the act.
