jim pinto here. You may remember me from such products as "Type A is for Treasure" and "Look what the coin convergence system can do for you."
I'm here to talk to you today about an exciting opportunity. An opportunity to see your name in lights (if at the very least you backlight your name with a halogen lamp).
AEG is presently working around the clock like busy like helper elves making the World's Largest City. And you can be a part of it!
We're not looking for writers. We have those. More than we want. I mean jeesh, these guys... er... are we live? Oh boy.
What we're offering is a chance to help make a building or 10 in the World's Largest City. That's right. You can see your ideas in print.
So.
What we're asking is this.
Think up a cool location for a fantasy city, like a butcher who collects stamps, except not that mundane and not that idea... because that one is mine! And sent it in. Its that easy. And you can submit as many or as few as you want.
Please submit your idea in 100 words or less. Include the names of any NPCs you would like to see in that location, your name (so we can print it), and the following boilerplate, attached to each e-mail you send to me (aegartguy@alderac.com).
I, ______________, understand and agree to the following terms:
Unsolicited artwork, story lines, character developments and other intellectual property (collectively "work") received by AEG is considered a gift of all the donor's rights, title and
interest in and to the Work (including copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights) which Work is given to AEG for no consideration, and becomes the property of AEG. AEG is in no way responsible to pay any transfer fees, licensing fees, royalties or any other consideration to the donor. Based on the above understanding, I hereby submit the enclosed Work.
We cannot guarantee that your submissions will be used. Nor will you be compensated beyond a thank you. However, there are a lot of creative gamers on ENWorld with really cool fantasy businesses and temples in their gameworlds and it would be a shame not to share their ideas with the world.
Any ideas you post on this public forum cannot be used, so please only use this area to banter about ideas, ask questions, and talk about me behind my back.
