I had never asked that a Chicago Gameday thread be archived before, but I think with the transition between my organizing it and passing it on to MattyHelms it might be helpful. Plus it'll be nice to hang on to the photos that way. :)

Unfortunately it is your job to see that he is not killed and that the potential assassins are eliminated. It's the classic DM versus the players scenario but with a twist. The convoy carried hundreds of rifles, machine guns, pistols.....and stinger missles. It was travelling to Mina, Nevada, the site of a military exercise. The convoy was due to arrive around 1:00pm, but has not yet done so. The last radio check in was at 11:30am. I want you to go to Schurz and assume control of this investigation."

Mark, do you have something special planned for game #2 (in both slots) you don't want to tell us...or are the #2 games by invitation only? :D

Oopsie! :o

Fixed. Nothin special planned for the second tables, and we are not limited to just four tables either. I've just set it up that way to get us started...

BTW, if any of the games that turn up on this list don't quite float your boat, please check out the thread on the RPG.net boards ( by clicking here ). They will be sharing the gameday with us and setting up games over there simultaneously. :)

Mark, please put me in your morning game. I'm glad you decided to run at least one game, more delighted i'm fast enough to get in :D I hear you're a great DM.

Also, in the other thread I posted i would be willing to run a Spycraft game. There was a large demand for it IIRC. Please set me up to DM in the afternoon. Players interested email me at mostholycerebus@yahoo.com

Re: Chicago Gameday 02-15-03

Mark, I'll submit my usual Star Wars game...

Game ? - For the Love of... (Star Wars D20)
Summary - It's springtime at the Royal House of Learning in Theed. A time when a young man's fancy turns to thoughts of love. And the Star Wars Iconic Characters must make the ultimate sacrifice for just such a young man... Canceling spring break to help a hopelessly smitten friend elope with his forbidden fiancée.
Select a 3rd-level Star Wars Iconic Character.

DM - Pbartender
Seats - 4-6 players

    2.
    3.
    4.
    5.
    6.

Put it in the first slot for now... If people would rather play it in the afternoon, we can move it later.

And please include me for breakfast.

I'll tentatively sign up for your morning game Mark, but my ETA is up in the air. Josh Dyal and I will likely carpool for this trip, so until I know how early we're gonna hit the road I can't fully commit. I promise to keep you posted, though.

Mark:

I'm going to show up for breakfast this time; please sign me up for that.

I'm playing in the Buffy game from RPG.net's schedule in the morning, but am still not sure what I'm doing in the afternoon.

I may end up running another Cthulhu game if there's some interest.

Thanks,
Matt

I'll hit the road as early as I have to, as much as it pains me to say so.

And what happened to Mike Grasso's d20 Modern game? He already agreed to GM that one, right? I thought I was already signed up for it even.
