Slot One - 9:30AM to 2:30PM

Game 1 - D&D 3e
Summary - A recent raid has left your ranks decimated but you've uncovered a map. Some obvious markings on it bear a resemblance to landmarks nearby, others hint at a treasure far greater than a hundred raids could garner. Going inland to seek this treasure could be dangerous and takes you away from the safety of your boats but your leader, who has just expired, muttered something about a long lost legend...

Summary - What does a twenty year old wrecked ship and an exquisite musical instrument have in common? You'll have to catch up to a certain bard to find out but there may be other old secrets that need to be dealt with before all is done! A truly great adventure written by our own Mark Clover!
2nd level characters, 28-point ability score buying thing (sorry, economics final this morning really removed portion of my brain!). Please limit everything to CORE RULES ONLY. It'll just be simpler for me if we keep it pretty straightforward. If you absolutely MUST have something from a different splatbook... email me.. we'll discuss what we can do for you.

Please have characters to me by Wednesday, June 18th! Any questions, email me, AIM me...whatever

Characters will be 6th level. Players should email me thier characters before the game. Make the characters using the point buy system. sorry no special effects or psionics. As noted in the description you're not American, you're from the Ukrain, please keep this in mind when creating your characters. You can be American trained, ie. college, special military training etc...

Meal Break from 2:30PM - 3:30PM (be back on time!)

Prize Drawings! - 3:30PM - 4PM

Slot Two - 4PM to 9PM (or later...)

Game 1 - D&D 3e
Summary - 7th-level multi-class Rogues or straight Rogue characters. Core rules only, 28 point buy per DMG, Email to me with Magic Item and Equipment wishlist (19,000 gp. limit including mundane, masterwork and magic items).

The town of Jalston is under attack by the forces of their rival city Madosture...but you don't really care all that much. Amid the chaos of pitched battle your group has decided to proceed with a heist! Will you go after the fabled Tome of Skarntoth said to be high in the Tower of the Bookbinder? The Main Keep and the family of the Laren Vensolor, Baron of Jals County, are known to possess the Ancient Arms and Armor of their ancestors in a trophy room. Portwert the Moneychanger surely has some wealth worth procuring. It's ten hours until dawn and you'll have to decide how much to grab and make your escape from this port town without being discovered!

Game 2 - World of Synnibarr - "A World of Adventure!"
Summary - Discover the realms of Synnibarr, power-gaming at its finest! Flying grizzlies with laser-shooting eyes, Midnight Sunstone Bazookas, thousands of Life Points at first level - it's all here. Character creation will be covered for those who do not own the rules. While many have lambasted this game as the worst RPG ever, I love its goofy charm - best described as a poorly translated Japanese Super Nintendo RPG with bizarre characters, huge non-sensical monsters, and ridiculously powerful attacks - and think we'll all have a blast playing it.

Game 3 - D&D 3e "Old Embers Never Die" (Revised)

Summary - ...D&D core rules only, and made for 14th-level characters. It will be very loosely based on Andy Collins’, “Old Embers Never Die, “ from Dungeon #100, but will have enough changes that even if you have read the adventure, you can still expect some surprises.

If the title doesn’t give it away, I’ll simply say that you’re characters are gathered together to seek out and destroy a dragon. It’s a thin hook, but it’s good enough! You can expect MUCH better details in your character backgrounds when I get them to you.

On this kind of short notice, I’ll ask that anybody who wants to make their own characters do so and email them to me before Sunday afternoon. Use 28-point buy, and the standard DMG values when buying magic items to make your characters. Otherwise, expect premade characters to be emailed sometime before gameday.

I'll also need a single player interested in playing, “the dragon” to ease things on my part--it isn’t limited to only the combat, or the end of the adventure! Members of B.A.D.D. are encouraged to apply. A combat "tip-sheet" will be provided. Apply by email, in private. Don't announce it!

Minimum # of players is four. If it doesn’t happen I will arrange to have something else ready to go as an alternative for my players.

I'm going to leave the official information in the first post and handle all questions and comments and planning in the rest of the thread.

Scheduling will work the same as before - propose a game, which slot you want it to run in, an adventure name and summary, and how many players. The game will be added to the schedule and players will sign up in the thread.

A few house rules for those new to the Gameday ranks:
1. You must be a registered ENWorld member to sign up - no signing up "by proxy".
2. IMPORTANT - no game switching!Once you sign up for a game, you're in that game - it's not fair to the GM or the other players to back out like that.

Let me know if you have any questions, otherwise - GAME ON!

Thanks,
Matt

I will be coming and making breakfast. I wanted to run a game, but the house we are having built is a month a head of schedule and I am closing on the 11th of June and know I won't have time to prepare anything. Although I can't run a game, I can probably now make it to Gen Con :)

Instead of running a game, I will bring some food.

Put me in for Breakfast, please, and I will work on my write-ups for the games I would like to run. Thanks! :)

KnowTheToe - congratulations on the house!

jalea - There should be one - or you could always run one yourself :)

Barendd Nobeard - glad you can make it again.

Mark - I see you said "games", as in two games - can we look forward to a one-two punch of lightning and thunder from Creative Mountian Games? :)

Thanks,
Matt

Matt -

I'd like to run White Plume Mountain (converted to D&D 3rd Edition) in the afternoon slot. 6 players. I'll have a (hopefully) evocative write-up for it in a few days.

(And check your sig; you have "Gameday" misspelled.)

Oh - and I call "dibs" on the table in the room by itself for the afternoon, since I don't think it's been spoken for yet in the other thread. I'm going to need that whiteboard...

I could, but I think you would want the players to enjoy the game and stay for the rest of the day.:D

in other words I'm not good as a gm.
