These small red colored drakes have no claws. There scales seam to burn with fire as they fly in the sky. They fact that people can see them even at night have given the fire drake the nickname of the glow drake. Those that do know how they hunt know the reason why they glow for they fire small fireballs at the prey which quickly shows the dragon and giving the scales light to show the dragons color which lasts 12 seconds after the fireball has be let lose. Also some people that have killed a fire drake know they explode when they die. They are not the brightest when it comes to intellect and they seam to favor shiny objects for some reason.
Combate
They might not be all that bright at some things but when it comes to killing there prey they do know what to do. They tend to let the fireball do most of the damage after there targets look like they are almost dead then they come in for the kill with there bite attack.
Fireball (Su): A fie drak can exhale a small fireball every 1d4 rounds. It has a range of 60 feet (no range increment). The fireball has a blast eadius of 10 feet and deals 4d6 points of fire damage to all creatures within the blast. Affected creatures suffer half damage if they make a successful Reflex save (DC 15).
Death Throes (Su): When killed the fire drake explodes in a burst of fire that deals 4d6 points of fire damage to every thing within 20 feet. Creatures in this region must make Reflex saving throws (DC 13) to take half damage.
Fire Subtype: A creature with the fire subtype has immunity to fire. It has vulnerability to cold, which means it takes half again as much (+50%) damage as normal from cold, regardless of whether a saving throw is allowed, or if the save is a success or failure.
