Aliens: Game Over is a role-playing game set in the far future of exploration, where United Systems Military Marines venture forth to meet extremely hostile alien life forms...and kill them.

The future of Aliens: Game Over is a bleak one, where megacorporations and mercenary companies run rampant. Perhaps most importantly, the Marine Corps has balls of titanium and is fearless in the face of any foe, human or otherwise.

Aliens: Game Over is a massive supplement for D20 Modern that contains 2 new races, 14 new occupations (including 8 corporations and 5 marine divisions), six new feats, new psionic powers, more equipment than you can shake an Armat M41A 10mm pulse-action air-cooled automatic assault rifle at (including the dreaded ATAX and HARDCore power armors), 14 new advanced classes, dozens of new worlds to explore, a mission generation system, and 28 new monsters. Hi. I downloaded your Aliens setting. Just have a small problem viewing it. I already had the "Alien League" font as it indicates in the PDF, but it doesn't display with the correct font. I thought that perhaps my version was different than yours, so I downloaded it from the location you provided, and reinstalled. Still no go. Any suggestions?

What happened was that the damn Alien League font was exploding the .pdf conversion, causing my system to display a Blue Screen of Death (tm). This is the only time my system has ever displayed such a screen.

I took the font reference out of everywhere except the front page. I'll remove that reference next.

Sorry about that.

...stupid font...

Thanks for the reply. I read much of the document. Despite the occasional proofreading error, it is a great read. There was alot of research involved, and I am glad you took the time to do it. Now I just need to get a group together...

Thanks Talien

hey as an old person that helped work on this with dan mccalister, tell him bd said hello and that I am glad he got this work published.

Now 3 questions:

1. Is it OGL? Yes it is! W00t!
2. I am suprised this has not been sold, Dan wanted to sell this puppy, how is he doing? I haven't talked to him for ages!
3. What's the chance of FOX beating down your door for this?

1) Only the stats are OGL. See the OGL info at the back of the supplement.
2) This CAN'T be sold. I don't have the rights. Dan doesn't have the rights. None of us have the rights. It incorporates a lot of sources from a lot of places -- getting licensing for all that would be...well, impossible, without a lot of money and influence. I don't have either of those. I'm pretty sure the other guys don't either. :)

I work on these games because I would do it anyway. I used to convert everything I read and saw into one game system or another. It's a closet geek thing, but I'm pretty sure I'm not alone.

So I realized two things: 1) if I'm gonna do it, why not team up with people who are equally fanatical about the topic, and 2) do it using the OGL so as a fan-based tool everybody can enjoy it.

To me, d20 was the answer to my obsession. You're all just helping me feed my addiction...

DanM was the most hardcore fanatic with this thing I am so glad he got this thing published. Tell him I am glad his hard work paid off and that this thing ROCKS!

'published' as in the sense of being compiled, well organized, and formatted in a well ledgable and well laid out format. I mean this is as good as some of the other PDFs on the market. I ain't asking for malhavoc press here but for a fanwork it's top notch!

Awww shucks, thanks. :)

Okay, I just didn't want to lead you astray. I'm very sensitive about the topic because at any time, someone who owns the rights to any of this fan-based stuff could put an end to it immediately. It is out of the utmost respect for the properties that we do this, and they very fact such supplements are allowed to exist is a privilege.

That said, you should buy the stuff I write that really is published. Visit http://michael.tresca.net to see the latest, I have three more d20 books on the horizon.
