Midnight threads being moved?

Quick question:

Why are Midnight threads being moved from the General board?

Midnight is not a stand-alone d20 product. It is a D&D setting.

EDIT - What is irony? Posting a thread in the General forum about something being moved to the d20 forum when the thread just posted should have been in Meta. Sorry.

Really? I saw it mentioned in another thread, but not a thread ABOUT this. I wanted to get the Mod's attention, and they might not have saw it buried in another topic.

I second that tought, Midnight is a setting and unless evrrything related to Greyhawk and Forgotten Realms is moved Midnight should not be, it is different in a way, but still a setting.

By the way I think Meta would be the worst place to call attention to this, I also remember that Piratecat, moderator extraordinaire, is off for two weeks, IIRC, so we may have a great debate with this topic and all the moderators setup later, for reasons on moving and ot moving, so we can get a consensus.

For the most part I am surprised that everything midnight goes moved there, even when it is asking things about it...

Meta threads belong in Meta, folks. Head there for answers, please! But the basic answer is that some products are a little hard to tell whether it's actual D&D or something a little more exotic. Scarred Lands? Plainly a campaign setting, with no fundamentally unique rules. Monte's AU? Clearly an OGL product. Midnight? Considering the variant rules for magic, clerics, and general character classes, we've decided to slide those into the d20 forum.
