I'll GM a Mutants and Masterminds game during the morning session. I'll take up to 6 players.

Details:

We'll be in Freedom City, and the PC's will be PL10. Players can create their own PC's (though sending them to me in advnace for approval is appreciated - use the errata from www.mutantsandmasterminds.com !), I can create a character on request for players without the book, and/or I can bring some pre-gen PCs for anyone who doesn't request or create something on their own.

EDIT: Oh, and I'll play in something during the second session too!

NEXT MORNING EDIT: I'm taking my # of players down from the 8 I was going to run and going with 6. I think we'd get more out of it with fewer people, as 8 person combats can be kinda long. Shouldn't be a problem, as only one person's expressed interest so far. :) Glad to have you aboard, mistergone!

Sign me up for the M&M game!

I'm wanting/willing to run a Savage Worlds game. 6 players. Details to be worked out, but it will be nothing really complex, probably a "Gauntlet" style game. Defeat hordes of enemies until you reach the end boss, getting "power-ups" along the way. I guess I'll have to take an afternoon slot, which is fine.

Also, might I recommend fitting everything together, as in roleplaying and other games? That way, no one has to miss anything they might want to play in. Like, schedule minis games and whatnot in slots like roleplaying games.

Unfortunately, I can't front any prizes this time out.

EDIT: Savage Worlds is very "newbie friendly" so you don't have to worry about knowing nothing about it. The basic rules are simple, I'll have good pre-made characters, and combat is fast-playing.

If anyone has any questions, they can be posted here, by PM or through my e-mail bloodymage@msn.com.

I've had interest expressed for a MechWarrior tournament. Hopefully, I can convince the organizer to post to this thread.

Thanks guys for signing up and thank you Mark for offering to come through again. Just curious, are we going to have any D&D or AD&D?

I'm up for playing D&D (esp. 3.5), but I wanna use my turn at GM to spread the good word of Mutants & Masterminds! :)

C'mon everyone, three weeks isn't a whole lotta time for us to pull this off. Please sign up and sign up early. :)

Just so you all know, you'll need no experience to enter the HackMaster Tournament. If you're at all familiar with AD&D, you'll have no problem with HM. Even if you aren't, you're more than welcome to sign up. Characters will be provided to those who need them.

bloodymage, perhaps you should post a link to this thread in the last Gameday II thread? Perhaps others watching that thread didn't notice we switched to this one...

EDIT: Oh, and as soon as there are some afternoon games, I'll sign up to play in one! ;)

Thanks Gary, good idea. Btw, I had a thought (you're gonna cringe!). Does Great Escapes have a logo t-shirt? If they do, it would be really cool to combine your bodaceaous logo with their shirts. If you change the text to match our event this time, you could print it out on iron-on transfer paper. Then solicit GE for some donated shirts for prizes along with a promise to sell a few (I'll help push 'em).

On the subject of prizes, Kenzer & Co. has committed to providing some free swag for us, but I have to pay the shipping. Kenzer encourages entry fees for sanctioned tournaments, but I'm not going to institute one for a game day. However, my finances are in a shambles right now, so any donations from tournament entrants would be accepted and appreciated.

Finally, reapersaurus, noble sir. Could you please hustle us up a restaurant with "banquet" seating?

GE has no logo shirts to my knowledge. I don't mind updated or even creating a new event logo, however.

I plan on wearing my Enworld shirt to Gameday (purchased it a couple of weeks after our last Gameday. :) )
