ECL +1 race w/ SR?

Are there any races out there with a starting ECL of +1 that have spell resistance? The lowest I've found is the Drow with ECL +2, but I don't really need all their other stuff.

Unless I'm mistaken, all of the races that have spell resistance have an ECL +2 (at least). The only race that I know that is an ECL +1 and can give you close to what you're looking for is the Githzerai. Although, what they have is power resistance (5 +1/character level).

Thanks, but both of the Gith races are ECL +2 in 3.5.

Hmm... I hadn't noticed that before. I was still going off the original info out of the psionics handbook.

What are the stats on the new gith for 3.5? couldnt find them in the srd, so where is there to look?

They are in the 3.5 monster manual.

Githyanki:

+2 dex, +2 con, -2 wisdom
60 foot darkvision
daze and mage hand 3/day
at 3rd level blur 3/day
at 6th level dimension door 3/day
at 9th level telekinesis 3/day and plane shift 1/day
spell resistance 5 + level
favored class fighter

Githzerai:
+6 dex, -2 int, +2 wis
60 foot darkvision
daze, feather fall, shatter 3/day
at 11th level plane shift 1/day
inertial armor (+4 armor bonus while conscious)
spell resistance 5 + level
favored class monk

Bariaur, Manual of the Planes. Spell Resistance equal to 11 + character level.

These are worth +2 ecl according to wizards? someone has been smoking something a bit too strong I'm afraid ;/

Strange, in my experience they're a strong +2. I have a palyer who always wants to bring in a githzerai monk...

Sorry, I was talking about the githyanki, definately not worth +2, not even really worth a full +1 either imo.

The other one with +6 dex along with the other abilities is a strong +1 and possibly a very weak +2 The boosts are nice, but giving up 2 hd plus all of the special abilities involved? plus the monk will get his own stronger sr that much faster.
