In 3.5 Polimorph Self you gain HP referent to Better Constitution score?

I don't find where say that is not working!

Please help that bug

The Polymorph spell states that it works like Alter Self, except where noted below. In the Alter self description, you find:

Your class and level, hit points, alignment, base attack bonus, and base save bonuses all remain the same

But Alter self also stated that you didn't change your abilities... And polymorph states it is like AS accept that you do change your abilities (STR/CON/DEX), so you do change your attack bonus WRT the new STR score... your AC WTR the new DEX score... and HP WRT the new CON score.

While your hit points don't change, your hit point modifier from Con does change, and you get hit points, just like Bear's Endurance.

So it changed from 3.0 to 3.5...

I guess the "hit points don't change" bit refers to the fact that while your new type might give you d8's instead of d4's for HP, you don't get additional HPs...

Sorry about the confusion folks. Not quite used to 3.5 I guess.

Yeah, AR.

Some people believe that it is supposed to apply to BASE hit points (that is, rolled HP without the con mod, supported by the rules), while others say it applies to all hit points (they don't change, supported by the sage and, potentially, the lack of the "HP doesn't change despite change in the Con mod" line).

My solution: Talk with everyone in the group, especially the DM, and just tell them how you're interpreting it.

And pray for errata/clarification.
