I voted 3.0. The improvements and refinements of 3.5 haven't been required at my table yet. Also, I can't realisticlly expect my whole group to buy new copies of the PH when, chances are, most of them aren't intimately familiar with the nitty-gritty of the rules and would never notice any differences. The only thing I use are the new "square monsters" rule.

I wonder how long it will be before Diaglo shows up. :D

It's too costly to go to 3.5 for me at the moment. I use 3.0 with homegrown house rules and the new damage reduction system from 3.5 (by request of my player's, who get all the fun while i'm getting all the conversion work).

I'm using 3.0E. While 3.5 offers some improvements to the rules, the difference between it and 3.0E isn't worth 100+ euros.

And, of course, I don't like being force-fed those miniatures rules

It's interesting that about a third of folks are still playing 3.0 does this mean they generally arn't buying much new product since stuff tends to be for 3.5 nowdays?

Maybe they still buy it. Despite claims to the contrary, using 3.0 material with 3.5 rules (or vice versa) isn't much of a problem. I do it all the time, usually without even needing to actually convert something.

It's all about a poll with chutzpah!

I went with 3rd edition hybrid. The unstoppable 3rd edition hybrid!

I don't use the new damage reduction system, most notably, amongst a few other things which I don't even necessarily realize I'm not using.

I find, however, that the new D&D stuff coming out is still fairly useful. I generally don't need more than a glance to know just how I'd convert it over. A glance I can give it during a game itself. I don't stress overly much about it all.

I guess that's true. Previously I bought a Dragon or Dungeon mag every now and then, and all some of the FR stuff. Now I buy hardly anything.

Or vice versa. Some people don't upgrade to 3.5e because they don't buy much stuff.

For me it's actually a combination of those. My intrest in buying D&D stuff waned before 3.5E, even.

That is true, but not because new material is 3.5 rather than 3.0. I haven't found any compatability issues for the most part for a 3.5 sourcebook in a 3.0 game.
