The End of the King Lizard....

Today....today, sad news must be brought to this forum....the radition born beast of US atomic bomb....that has ravage Japan and defended it from equally dangerous monsters.

GODZILLA....is...*sniff, sniff* is hanging up his great fire breath and great hitting switching tail for...good.

It was sited for the retirement....the lack of love (interest) in the ending of this gloriuos career of this beast...who was villian born...then later...became the loveable hero to millions.

* the cry of the other monsters can be heard in their joy, that finally...it was this that killed him...for they all failed equally in the task themselves*

Long Live GODZILLA

Born 1954....Died 2004 (see...I was so upset, me spelled 'died' wrong...it was DIED...wahhhhhh!!!)

"Died 2004" Dude, Godzilla will never go away.

I won't let him. :]

In the meantime, all G-Fans should check out Columbia TriStar's recent DVD releases of Godzilla X Megaguiras and especially Godzilla Mothra King Ghidorah-Giant Monsters All-Out Attack! GMK is great, great stuff. I'd love to see what the writer/director Shusuke Kaneko and his special effects team could do with a Hollywood-sized budget. They also did the newer (1995-98) Gamera films, which are also excellent.

Yeah, I don't buy it for a moment. They retired Godzilla in 1974. They killed him in 1994. They'll bring him back in a few years when the demand rises and they have the budget surplus again. Just you wait.

I am really interested in the Godzilla: Final War movie, though. From what I've heard, the idea is that it's an update of Destroy All Monsters, with a massive supporting kaiju cast and a globe-trotting storyline.

Demiurge out.
