Description: Twilight beast are a strange creature, they live in communal hives similar to Termites, Though on a much larger scale. The hive consist of massive tunnels that end in huge caverns deep in crust of the planet. Entrances to these tunnels can be miles apart and there are often unfinished or covered tunnels that can easily be broken through for below to make a quick exit if need be.

The young travel in large groups and hardly ever touch the ground, As they have little need to. Their small size allows them to stay in the air for hours on end and when they rest it is usually in a fashion similar to bats, hanging upside down from the ceiling of caves, buildings or any other dark place.

The Adults are much different from the young, which they leave to fend for themselves at birth. During times of famine the Twilight beasts are known to slaughter their own kind for food, as they have a fairly high birthrate this usually does not harm there numbers much. Though extended famines may well reduce them to mere ghost hives, with but a few members left.

In combat both adults and young are brutal fighters that give no quarter and fight until death. The Young use sweaping swarm like dive bomb attacks, raking with their razor sharp claws in large waves of death. The adults tactics consist of similar, though without the swarm aspect. They attack more from the ground, though they are well capable of attacking from above and do so when able.

First off, what is the death touch feat? What does it do? And is it a bonus feat (4 HD = 2 feats)?

Secondly, the CRs are way, way too low. I'd say CR 1 for the young twilight beasts and CR 3-4 for the adults.

Demiurge out.

Sorry, I forgot to point out that some things needed adjusting. Thanks for the Pointer on the CR though. I agree that they should be a little higher.

Death Blow - (Sword and Fist)
You waste no time in dealing with downed foes.
Prerequisites: BAB +2, Improved Initiative.
Benefit: You can preform a Coup De Grace against a helpless foe as a Standard Action.
Normal: Performing a Coup De Grace is a full round action.

I also fixed up the creature a little more.

great job! a quick question: would your 'swarm target' ability for the young be an attack action? if u ask me, you might want to use the swarm template, as those little buggers didnt seem to ever travel alone...

anywho, good work!

Thankls for pointing out the HD issue, I didn't even notice I had that listed wrong, must have been a bad day. :)

As to the Swarm Template, it might work out, though they would loss it when they got older.

As to the Swarm target ability, it would probably be a full attack action requiring at least 10 of the young to work, the damage being from all the attacks combined into one.
