Adventure Plug: The Kaiser of Mittendein has ordered the construction of a fortress where the town of Tillich was razed by goblins several years ago. The work there is progressing well and commoners are returning to the area under the protection of the Mittendein army. Strange events are beginning to take place in the area, which has attracted adventurous people as well.

Restrictions: 3.5 rules; no CN or evil; PK-

The party avoided the spider ambush, disarmed the trap, neutralized the scouts and ambushed the encampment of goblins lurking in a dense, old-growth copse of trees a mere two miles down river from the site of construction.

Among the loot was an art object, a wagon. Inside was a document written in Thusesti, and hints at the hand of an Ulruzian at work there. Who knows where this will lead...

Participants in "Raging Bear" should not sign up for this adventure.

Hey - replied to your post on RPGhost as well - checked out your sites - you are a totally die hard gamer - excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm novice at best - but get really into the game - create my own stuff - develop my character - and try to play it real (even when the DM suddenly makes me a paladin for a few sessions temporarily from messing with a magic artifact - now that was tough LOL)

I'm hoping your one shot on Sunday - may turn into another - and another - and eventually we'll end up with a few dependable players to get to the meat of it - if that's even vaguely your thought - great - I'm in - and the time is even perfect!! I've played 3E (and own the books) but I'll be sure to brush up on 3.5 as best I can - also total newbie to Open RPG - but used GRIP before - I'll get by

I'd like to play. I saw your post on OpenRPG. I 'joined' this site a while back, but never found an open game and stopped checking with any frequency. I *think* I still have the campaign pdf. Should I make something and send it to you?

I'd be intrested in playing, if you'd be willing to accept non-humanish PC's. Always looking for more places to RP, but can be hard to find any with that lil hitch of mine. If you are up for it, I'd love to give it a go. Is there a place I could email you to discuss what characters would be acceptable?

Hi, and thanks for your interest! I'm not as die-hard as the list makes it seem, but... ok, I do game a lot! OpenRPG is pretty easy to use.

For those who don't have the setting guide, it's at www.the13kingdoms.org under downloads. It is all that is publically available right now, but consider it a beta document. The final will come out someday - currently hung up with the editor we recruited :/ Use the beta PDF (v1.1) for now though.

I hope this turns into a regular campaign, but at the least it'll expose you to a great setting! Sign up for the T13K Players usergroup under control panel to wander the rest of the Members and Players+ sections It's automatic approval, so just a couple clicks.

As to class/race, any would work. Goblinoids and Half-Ogres might have a rough time of things socially, but heck, that's true throughout Mittendein (the realm this adventure takes place in).

Sorry, we can't swap like that. However, the two groups of heroes ought to be able to chat in town. The Tavern forums are for just such a thing, if you are interested.
