Rifts d20?

I've seen custom rules for Rifts d20 over the internet. I would like to know what you all think of them. Is anyone interested in Rifts d20 anymore?

I've taken upon myself to improve the system, so any advice you can offer, would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think you can do the power level of Rifts in d20. Plus, vehicle, and Power Armor, and Robot rules would have to be created that work. It would be tough to be able to keep MDC and SDC creatures in the HP system.

Balancing Rifts is near impossible. Compare a 1st level Mystic Mage to the 1st level Glitter Boy.

Concerning SDC versus MDC, that's the one point of the Armor/HP system that is bugging me. I'm probably gonna get rid of the distinction, or alter it a lot.

Feats: I hate having 20 skills with "+2 to 2 skills". I hate those. It lacks imagination... and only put to fill up some space. I never knew any players who waster their Feats on that.

Magic: Rifts' magic system is really weird. Spell levels aren't used at all. Spells aren't really that useful. I'm still gonna keep the PPE part, but probably create "spell list". Depending on what caster class the character takes, he's gonna have different access to spells.

Psychic: I never read the Psionic's Handbook. Is it any good?

Actually they are equal, its just one your giving a suite of plate +5 and a sword +5 to, the other you aren't. Now if you compaire the Juicer to the mystic, or dragon to the mystic, they aren't equal.

And there's rules for all of that (including power armour (except, we haven't got rules for robots yet) in Spycraft.

And the feats are fantastic (D20M doesn't have "Not The Face!" I'm sure...)
