Hosting our own SRD?

Maybe this is a stupid idea, but has anyone ever thought about hosting the SRD(s) in an easily browsable format here on ENWorld?

Not everyone will want to download the entire SRD from the WotC website, or load the rtf files while browsing. Also, I am aware that there are several other SRDs like the one I "envision", but itseems that most suffer from a certain drawback - they are maintained by a small group of people. If, for some reason, they turn their back to updating the SRD, it will be less useful for others.
Here on ENWorld, though, we have a huge community, which may aid in updating when necessary. As I said, it might be a stupid idea, but it hit me some time after reading the SRD update thread.

Already done.

It's not here at ENWorld, but many of the users here have their SRD posted there. And given the speed problems ENWorld is still having, hosting it off-site like this is best.

I suggest you try the Sovelior/Sage 3.5 SRD. Best one I've seen. I'm hoping they update it with the recent changes...

That was more or less my point. ;)
But thanks for the link! I knew the Sovelior/Sage SRD, but I wasn't aware that there is more to that site. It seems to have its share of contributors, though updates seem to have been lagging behind a bit.

My fellow danish resident, Sage, is already working on that but if you're willing to help him out there a thread in DND Rules section about it.

Hmm, I don't know the latest update of the official SRD which included errata, some new monster and a little more was released on May the 14th. So lagging behind what excately?

Lagging behind what? Why, it's been almost four whole days, man! Don't tell me these people have an annoying thing like a life or a job that could get in the way of immediately updating an amazing tool which they make available free for my use!?!;)

Seriously, please take the impatience as an indication of how popular and indispensable these wonderful tools have become for many, many people.

I propably misphrased that bit. I meant the site on the whole, not the Sovelior/Sage SRD. However, I believe that last time I checked, the Epic section was not online in the form that it is now (but some of the epic files seem unaccessable currently, and I might be misremembering).

I'd argue that it's been more than four days since the end of april. :p And I should note that I appreciate the hard work that went into the Sovelior/Sage SRD, especially the internal linking.

Furthermore, I believe they should always update their SRD version the day before the official SRD is being updated. ;)

Although the latest updates are from April, the official release was a week ago.

And there's a good reason the Psionic sections were removed (it was there earlier), ie WotC said they would change them to comply with the upcoming XPH, so there wouldn't be a reason for having the old 3.0 version of the psionic rules in the 3.5 SRD anymore.

I didn't say anything about psionics, did I?

Anyway, as long as they regularly update the SRD, which they currently do, my point is pretty moot. Let's just let this thread die, ok? :)
