I'm going to be away from EN World until June the 12th. As some of you already know, I'm studying full time for a degree in computing and have until recently been unemployed. This let me study during the day, and gave me an hour or two in the evenings to post here on EN World.
However, I've been roped in to help out at my brother's place of employment with a new venture they're setting up. This is taking up the daytime when I normally study, displacing studying to the evenings. This is really leaving me with no free time, and hence I'm just not going to be able to spare the hour or so a day I normally spend on EN World. Things will hopefully have slackened off a bit at work after the 12th (they're going to be employing some extra staff, meaning I won't have to be in quite as often) and I'll be the other side of two pieces of assessment for my university courses.
So, the bad news? I'm not going to be about for close to two weeks. The good? I'll have some money, so will be able to buy more D&D books. Everyone playing in a game I'm DMing should expect a sudden flurry of interesting new items, classes and creatures when I get back
To everyone who's game I'm in, I'm really sorry about any delays or problems this absence might cause. I know this is coming only just over a month after my last leave of absence, and if I'm proving too problematic, I'm not going to hold it against anyone if I get dropped from a game.
To everyone who's game I'm DMing, you've had to put up with a lot of intermittent posting from me over the last few months. I'm sure you're all getting mightily fed up of it, and if anyone wants to drop out of a game, I fully understand. If you decide to stick with me, thanks for your patience, it's really much appreciated.
Thanks for reading this, and I'll see you all in a couple of weeks.
Robin.
EDIT: Slight change of plan, please see my post below.
