Adventure 'the Cosmos Flux' June 28(finished!)

SPACE CEILOPIESHE

Durring a lull in the activity at a common merchant center,surrounded by
a flourishing city that holds the standard for a ‘militia’ rule and has it’s
share of ‘sects’ that each are vieing for a claim in control,the city of
Dethyeirn,began to experience shifts in the ‘powers that be’ that had
interfacing with the ‘cosmos weave’.City officials disregaurded this as
a strange non-permanent occurance that was part of the back wash from the
new Izio class warp engines being run by the major freighter operations
lately,and several ‘preists’ from the Cult of Kelyui stepped in and
corraberated this curtailing of what was treally taking place.The strange
effects of this had deemed most of the ‘items’ that were cosmos related and
most customers that shopped this marketplace,underscored,eventually had the reaction of sending activity and business to an all time low.The question of whether the secretive business of Senior Courtier Bemesh was responsible soon layde way for an investigation by the leading sects that worked in greater effort with the weaves of Ceilopieshe than the ‘militia’,and several ‘techno-mages’ were hired to study the new Izio engines,while the various quarreling sects suaght answers as to what was reallyt being sold by Bemesh and if these were the real reason for the break in the Cosmos weave.

This situation did not bade well with the ‘Interplanetary Council’,for often
they had found that stranger ‘unsanctioned’ activities were the catalyst
;to problems within the force of patterns that allowed some of the great
warriors and defenders of freedoms to usurp their talents within the
patterns of Ceilopieshe and beyond.The first ‘Govern’ Karioklithe,was soon
finding that the sources for the ‘Cosmos’ destruction was not one source but
a variety,and the hopes for a defense against this were unquestionably
crucial to the state of the multiverse.

Soon several posters and ‘hexa-comp’ warnings and pleadings were asking for
any true valiants among the classes of ‘Ceilopieshe’ warriors to search for
the link to the powers of the Izio warp engines/the Cosmos weave/ and curtailing impossible merchant items/ that each in some part were responsible for this breakdown.


~Members of the party will each meet together as the GM prefects at a place
when prelimenary investigations begin,when this happens,each /player/ will
intoduce themselves to the other,and a sense of group alliance should begin.

|if the group are quarlesom – 5 attack first 1d10 battles when appropriate
| if they have a good repiore with eachother +10 hackling first negotiation


The steps of the party as they decide to take on this task will lead to the
Purchase of several items at the ‘lulled’ marketplace [each player 650 extra Exeine] and finaly a meeting with a particluar ‘Armour’ merchant that had a special ‘Sect’ encoded message about the demands and investigation.

As follows
“The first acts of aggresion after the broken Cosmos fluxuation,were
not as simple as we first percieved,as several ‘spell casters’ began to
attack an innocent ‘preistess’ of the Kelyui Order,for reasons as of
yet understood,but most definately related to the cuase and effect of the
yet answered problem,several ‘Chimerists’ of our order experienced
a rapid depletion of their Ceilopieshe ,when searching in meditation
for answers to the origin of some of Bemesh’s items.This was not an
answer nor a defintive elimination of factors though it did accout for
the fact that several paths were to be considered when finding the answers to this occurance.”

IF THEN
-players that look extra within each(every) place they shop will find the
following
`a lazer that sits in the open just 10 ft from the side display,on the
ground,clearly easy for the taking’

LAZER (1)
+10 attack any ‘sect’ member of Dethyeirn
-4 Energy each use limited to # of attacks the foe has made

-if players have concurrent discussion when spending their Exeine
they may have a ‘RND” roll to find the item

IF THEN
- when the party has spent %80 of their extra Exeine they will begin to be watched by the Militia Constaple /Devrithyuojiu/ with 10 Assasin gaurds
set to obey his orders,should any 1 member of the party begin to speak
openly abut the ‘special information’ obtained.

~the party will enter a Flurry and find iether 3 Spacecraft they can obtain
/2 crates with 10 grenades
/ a wise merchant at a hiding spot after Flurry that explains
that most of the merchant Bemesh’s items are from Plexitooren


PLEXITOOREN
Devoted to the relgious order that broke away from the Interplanetary Council
this %75 desert planet has made a name for itself in the study of ‘ancient
war premises’ and the ways that conflicts had beguin and ended and who
were the vistors.Great warlorld and even Interplanetary Council leaders
have often secretly searched the archives and made inquistions at this
strange desolate planet before major war or maritime acions were voted
on.

more about this particluer adventure will be written,especially
i'm interested in finding what sort of 'encounters' for combat
might be sound,as of yet there are no created 'foes' so
this may be resolved with at least a weapon and Energy
however any ideas,that are conversions will be noted
 



IF THEN
`a meeting with Constaple Devrithyuojui
“There are factors within this that I can’t promise won’t be dangerous
the actual origin of these damned new stardrives is left shall I say
under wraps,though if you go looking I suggest Millikon of the
Seperatists for Chaos,there’s been a lot of Exeine running through them lately,and as far as Bemesh goes,well I’m nearly as interested in getting
that nuissance taken care of as I was you before you explained you’re
motifs…but that aside I suggest that if you go to Plexitooren to snoop
about you take a few special order Militia passes,my secretary will get
that arranged…there’s no rewards right now,but I suspect that when we
resolve who wants this solved and who’s the enemy a few may put
in for say a Exeter class Flyer….sound good,good,may the
Ceilopishe be with you”

IF THEN
` the party tries to snoop about the building
- 3 auto bots attack at a wherehouse area,one has a modulator that
seems to receive information from the Miltia comp systems
-two scientists in a special lab,are leaving,questioned they will say
that though there is a need for much support to maintain this
‘Cosmos’ block,there defintely is a combination at work
-1 pass card gets obliviated by a survellience alarm/lazer if tried to be
used at a recognition for a hallway
- 1000 Exeine in easily sellable tech equipment at the far corner of first floor

IF THEN
`the party pays for a passage to Plexitooren,rather than taking one of flyers
at first ‘flurry’ encounter
-1 alien will speak if finds them intelligable,explaining that though there
are problems between sects at Plexitooren,it isn’t as bad as at Dethyeirn
and the other cities of it’s planet,and that evil mongers most likely
could be found at the place they just left









PELXITOOREN
The need for security class milita cards is instantly made when several
cops question them,if they don’t have any,fighting the cops will leed to
jail and death most likely,they may pay off the first time for 500 Exeine,then
must find counterfiete identities or make to the city outskirts unnoticed

IF THEN
`a stranger will offer to set them with fake passes,not militia but good
for simple investigation,this costs 700 Exeine
- while at the fake trade building,they see a new Izio starcraft
(sneaking aboard is difficult,failure means no fake passes,and 1d4 players
lose their weapons and armour)
-pay more than price,will tell of a secret sect of the Seperatists for Chaos that have a following in the ‘outskirts’

I can totally follow the adventure and your 'if-then' developement notes.

However, I still have almost no idea how your Space Ceilopieshe game works.
 


OUTSKIRTS PLEXITOOREN
The players will eventually find this place through the hint or
personal inquiry.The first few minutes there as they look about
somewhat stupified by the mundane and gaurded look of bland
structures that have spying and turret features,2 NPC’s approach,
one is a Chimerist other Xerio,they will not speak,and after
within 15 ft of party break into run[GM may opt survelliance and
lazer reaction from some locations durring chase] they find that they
are in an alley and the 2 NPC’s attack from the end:The walls start
moving inward,actually metal!:Party must win fight within
4d6 [group turns],a special item is seen and taken if this is done
Item
~a small round 4 in,1in disc with a screen that fluxuates some
cosine,and grid dot patterns of three colors blue,purple,green
(this is actually a coordinator that tells how much Izio backwash
is there for amount of (new fact)Cosmiotifioeyn Energy,generated from
items that were taken from the same Super Galactic Alien Craft that the
Izio engines were designed from.
[this is the major factor,players don’t know what device does,nor will
anybody on Plexitooren,the Craft was a crash from unknown place or
species at Merridian 10 (a planet of wild weather nature,no life,300
clicks from the nearest space station)]

IF THEN
`players fail to retrieve item
- they will find themselves in 1d4 skirmishes with strange beasts as theyt make to further outskirts past the techno structures,and 1 band of nuetrals will ask for 150 Exiene for info that says “there are reasons the Miltia and Inter-Council are keeping this a under wraps,the investigation vulunteer work is just a sham to keep the public happy”
[party will return to Dethyeirn,curious as to Karioklithe & Devrithyuojiu’s interests]
`players retrieve item
- the Plexitooren City Guard will attempt to subdue and jail and
take the item,5 City Guard 1st, 2 Assasins 2nd, 3 Courtiers 3rd[these are
separate from the city guard and will take all items from players if they lose,
if players win, 10 Chrystalis x are obtained]
- a passage to the first Izio craft seen at ID situation is made by
insider if jailed,this takes them to station nearest the ‘Alien Craft Crash’
- they will obtain a Air Cart with good speed (+3 evasion etc.) and
be told of a person from the Seperatists of Chaos against Millikon
they should meet with.

SEPERATIST ILLGINFORGE
Will tell the players this after they have traversed 1d10 trap maze like
features before an empty auditorium
“the worlds of fear and power will collide,the Militia the Council they
are running a game for the public to believe in while they take apart the
the inner workings of this ‘COSMOS’ fluxuation,and discover how it
can be used for war and conquering…I’m afrsaid that’s all I can say,for
the battle to be fuaght is a yet decided fate,though I fear that the innocent
who they wish to crush may not be the evil icon that must be defeated”

RETURN TO DETHYEIRN
`players that make return,any way possible,will encounter
the greeting of Counil Interplanetary Representative,that now
knows they are working on the situation
- if more than 10 days
“there are certain persones you must meet with and question one of
which is Bemesh,I fear that he has left the city with a group of
fighters and intends no such interaction,approach with caution,and all
I can say is they were last seen near the Illforge Lake reserve”
- if less than 10 day
“If you find any person working for Bemesh,we will pay 400 Exiene for
each corpse you bring in,this fool thinks there is safety in leaving the
city,but we have a better idea,namely what exactly he stole from the
Interplaneraty Council and how it is that some weak minded fools
who work for this ‘:):):):) hole’ have enacted a fusion that destroys the
Powers of the Cosmos weave”
