GenCon Releases

What's going to be released at GenCon this year? I've heard of a few, but want to know more.

Some of what I know so far:
Paranoia XP
D20 Future
World's Largest Dungeon

What else? Big or small releases, I want to know what I need to keep an eye open for.

We'll release Monster Geographica: Underground at Gen Con. Not a big release, but it's a release.
But thats one that I've been looking forward to! :) I'll add it to my shopping list.

I assume you still have copies to sell of Magical Medieval Society: Western Europe? I still haven't picked one up yet...:o

We'll be bringing our last 50 or so copies to Gen Con. There's still some in the channel but we think *cross fingers* we're going to be OOP by the beginning of next year.

Oh, and I forgot to plug our Gen Con special. :)

We'll be giving away a Trogdor christmas ornament (Suzi cross-stiches these for fun) with every purchase of an XRP product. While supplies last, of course.

Different Worlds Publications will have three books at GenCon:

  • Valus, by Destan (see his SH @ http://www.enworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=81523); this is a regional sourcebook detailing The Valus in Destan's Ostia Prim campaign world
  • The Return of Ippizicus Child-Eater, also by Destan (an adventure set in The Valus; this chronicles some of the events that unfold in Destan's "Sins of Our Fathers" SH [link above])
  • The Eight Kings, by Rob Kuntz (of Greyhawk fame); this is the fourth and final adventure in the Maze of Zayene series of modules (the first three were published by Necromancer Games)

Formal annoucements are in-process and will be made soon (we're giving the DW web site a facelift beforehand).

Wasn't Maze of Zayene supposed to be five adventures?

The original series of modules (first published in 1987) was just four titles:

  • Prisoners of the Maze
  • Dimensions of Flight
  • Tower Chaos
  • The Eight Kings

However, Rob has mentioned at least two more Zayene-related works in the past: The Iron Castle (part of the Hidden Realms of Zayene) and Zayene's Workbook (a collection of the dark magics Zayene rediscovered). For some additional details, see http://www.canonfire.com/htmlnew/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=125
or drop by and visit Rob's forums at http://pub175.ezboard.com/bpiedpiperpublishing
