If I'm dead set on not buying Dark Sun, I'm not going to walk into every thread discussing the upcoming Dark Sun material and previews and such and announce "Well I'm not buying Dark Sun". And then put that fact in my sig. Come on.

I'm glad there's going to be another Assassin article. I suppose it's too much to hope that it's a third build option, but anything is nice.

another Wizards article? Geez don't they get enough already.....I would rather see Sorcerers, Ardents, Seekers, Monks, Psions & Battleminds get some love.....Wizards already have so many articles.

Number of articles, according to the Class Acts article listing:

So, another Wizard article is definitely uncalled for, seeing as they already have the most. However, it's not by a ton - Invokers, Warlocks, and Warlords also have a bunch.

On the other end, Paladins and Assassins are both getting articles this month, and they only have one article each. So it's not as if Wizards is completely off their nut. What surprised me the most was how few Rogue articles there are.

PHB3 articles will more than likely be forthcoming, although I dare say they'd be holding back a little for a Psionic Power book.

Oh finally. A dragonborn article. Was wondering if they would ever support this race.

Could be worse, it could be yet another Tiefling article.

I suspect that the Wizard has received the most because people still felt they needed a shot in the arm to make them decent controllers. It wasn't until a recent Class Acts: Wizard when they got an area burst 1 that attacked enemies only (which other controllers had), etc.

PHB3 articles will more than likely be forthcoming, although I dare say they'd be holding back a little for a Psionic Power book.

Seeker and Runepriest could use it.

Ah, the hybrid one. Well, it had been announced as a hybrid assassin article, so I didn't really expect more than that. That said, I've been waiting for someone to write a bunch of useful (as in "not weaksauce") assassin powers, because they sure could use them.

Regarding support, it's true that Eberron has gotten less articles in Dragon Magazine than FR (19 vs. 27 in 24 issues), but then the Realms were released earlier (by about a year IIRC) and have also been subject to far more changes than Eberron in 4e. (I've touched upon a sensitive topic here; no flamewars regarding 4e FR, please. Thank you.)

Where did I say I was not buying Dark Sun? In fact, I have said many a time I AM BUYING Dark sun. I will be buying ALL THREE offerings for Dark Sun in non-DDI format (In case you have forgotten, that is still possible)

That's not what he said. He said you come into DDi related articles and never say anything except how and why you don't subscribe.

I was using an Analogy to Explain that if I did that I would be doing something Obnoxious.

You come into threads about DDI - even ones just talking about the Content - and proudly proclaim you're not buying, even goign so far as to put it in your sig. I compare THIS with if I was going to do that towards some other product (I selected Dark Sun just because it's the thing people are talking about).

Talk about reading posts more carefully.
