A few more things to tackle:

A cariad ysbryd can sense living creatures anywhere in the area she protects, and if strangers enter the area she knows of it immediately. Mere entrance to the area is not enough to force a reaction from her, but if new entrants harm any living thing within that area (including each other), or if one of them is already afflicted or wounded in some way, she makes her way to them while singing her song to halt those who may react in fear and anger, and to heal wounded people.

"Detect Living" Su ability that functions similar to detect undead, but only for living creatures, to a range of 5 miles (the size of the cariad's home given earlier in the text)?

Humanoids, demihumans, and men who chose to live in cariad ysbryd-maintained areas could prosper as well. The ease of living in her presence for a week or more serves as a restorative to a man’s spirit. Under constant, willing exposure to a cariad ysbryd’s song, intelligent creatures heal from fatigue, wounds, and illnesses at twice their normal rate.

Treat as long-term care administered by the cariad?

In addition certain artists gain particular benefits from associating with a cariad ysbyrd, as her singing serves as inspiration to singers, poets and bards. Spending 1-6 months in the company of a cariad ysbyrd gives a bard a permanent bonus (equivalent to an extra level of ability) when using his voice for special effect such as inspiring his friends or countering the effects of a harpy’s song.

I'm not sure I like a permanent benefit, but maybe one that lasts for a duration equivalent to the amount of time spent in the cariad's company?

Agreed on Detect Living, long term care, and reducing the bard bonus. Rather than make it "an extra level of ability," we could just make it a +1 or +2 bonus to Perform checks for bardic music or something.

They can tell the difference between a healthy living creature and a wounded or afflicted one, so rather than the detect undead's ability to detect HD it sounds more like deathwatch's ability to distinguish between "alive", "alive and wounded", "dead", "undead" and "neither alive nor dead".

Indeed, I'd base it on a 5-mile range deathwatch rather than detect undead with the addition of "dying", "diseased", "poisoned" and "ability or energy drained".

Yes.

I'd prefer the effects to continue for 1d6 months after contact stops.
