Wonder Woman short film garners 3.5 million views in a week

I guess this means that there could be a market for a Wonder Woman film?

Too bad Joss Whedon is busy with The Avengers - he might have been a good one to lead the project.

Any ideas on who would be a good Wonder Woman? Jennifer Lawrence? Gina Carano? Scarlett Johansson?

It's very cool. Though WW has Superman-level strength, doesn't she? That makes hand-to-hand combat with ordinary mortals a little less interesting.

She's supposed to have that level of strength, but I don't think the old TV show with Lynda Carter played her up as quite that strong. Not sure how strong the WW in the failed pilot with Adrianne Palecki was supposed to be, either, but I saw a preview that had her in hand-to-hand with thugs like that video as well with similar results - clearly much stronger, but no way near Superman strong. So, the TV show precedent has her as very strong, but not Superman strong. Heck, TV WW might even be weaker than Spider-Man.

I think it looks like a cheap videogame trailer. There's no characterization, and why are the other Amazon's not joining in the fight against the monsters? Is WW the only warrior on Themyscira? I don't think so...
