D&D 5E 5e Large-Print Character Sheet

Dalryn

Villager
Hi everybody.

I run a 5e game at a nursing home for some old friends (pun intended) and would like to find a large-print character sheet for them. Does such a beast exist?

Thanks,
Scott

As a Librarian, I can tell you that "large print" in a book is considered about 16 points at a minimum. I've seen as large as 20 point, but that's pretty unusual. Here's a sheet I made for my group - Note that the SKILLS section has been redone, as we got rid of "tools" and redid a few other skills to suit us better, so you'd have to redo it. But the rest should be fine...

Huh, very odd because I created it in open office (oh, as a drawing!) on OS X. Let me save as PDF and re-upload to google drive...

Well, that was fun

It's an .odg file. Not a file format I'm familiar with.

If you can, please do upload it here for folks who find this thread years after the link is now longer valid. :)

Dalryn Is nobody going to ask a follow up question about how you came to be running D&D at a nursing home? I'd love to hear about that.

I'm just not picturing that the first generation of D&D enthusiasts are that old yet. Maybe they are...damn that makes me feel old now. How does an old person come to get into D&D if they were not already. Were they familiar with RPGs already, did it take much to explain if not?

Are there unique challenges to DMing a game in that demographic? If so how do you work around it?
