Oh wow, Incon, that's going to be interesting. I was under the impression that it was a store exclusive only.

Paige

It's in the back of the CoS book. Future seasons will have store exclusives. The changes this season were too fast. What interests me more is that this is already out and we still have 2 weeks till early launch. This is like early early launch. (Double early?)

There are additional incentives to play Death House in stores rather than at home that have not all been announced yet. The timing of the announcements got a little off. I expect you'll here more next week about how the Death House in the store has some additional exclusives over home play next week.

I can't wait for the further announcements. I'm glad that stores are still going to get some exclusive incentives. If they are what I think they are (sorry Greg, but the DH Instructions rekindled my speculative senses), then my players will be very happy with the outcome.

Sometimes I think that Dragon + and the Wizards team are 2 entirely different entities. A lot of people were caught 'surprised as hell' when Death House appeared in Dragon +.

That guy, who does that thing.

I think you are entirely correct. The WotC AL team consisted of Greg Bilsland, Shelly Mazzanoble, Chris Lindsay, and Chris Tulach. (See the intro page of any AL Expeditions module.) One of the Chris's (I forget which) is no longer on the team, having migrated over to the Magic side of the business.

The Dragon+ editorial team is Stephen Pierce (Editorial Director) and Matt Chapman (Editor-in-Chief). Unless one of them is working with someone contributing material to Dragon+ who also happens to be on the AL team, there's no real expectation that these two guys will have much knowledge of what goes on in AL -- that's not their job, after all.
