D&D 5E What are some good ways to promote DM's Guild Titles?

Well, that was fun

It would be cool to have a weekly "roundup" where a few quality selections from the DM's Guild are presented as a news article here.

I just don't have the personal bandwidth to read a whole load of DMsG titles every week, honestly. That sounds like a job of many hours each week, and I'm behind on so much stuff!

If any community members were to do so, though, that would be awesome.

I might do it. It could work if the creators have to actively PM their work to check out and then select 5 or so for that week. Hmmm.

If you do it, you should post your E-mail somewhere. I and probably others would happily send you complimentary products for you to review but an E-mail address is required.

Sounds sensible. I have set up my settings so anyone should be able to e-mail me by clicking on my username. I will see up a separate post in this forum to detail my plans. I hope to do it in a semi-review/Picks of the Week kind of way. I will give a short blurb about 5 five pieces that have been brought to my attention that I believe the community would enjoy and give them a mini review with a five star rating just like on the DM's Guild. I will, of course, post a link to any items that I mention so that readers don't have to search for them.

I will review based on:

Quality: Presentation and readability of the product.
Utility: How easy the product can be used for other settings or cherry picked for ideas.
Innovation: How original is the material compared to what has already been published/produced before.
Price: The overall value:price ratio according to me.

Any comments or concerns from anyone?

Not really a concern, but you will post the review in your thread here as well as on the actual product page on DMsGuild right?
Each have value, but both together obviously has more value and can be done with relative ease.

Yes, I plan on placing the review over there as well as in my thread.

Morrus, is it possible to publish these in the news section once I get this going?

I was thinking about posting these on Monday.

I have a couple of things that I'd love to have reviewed if you are willing, but they both have prices attached so I need an E-mail to send complimentary copies to.
You probably think that information is readily available in your profile, but it doesn't seem to be. There is a "Send E-mail" button that can be used to send E-mails to you but it does not provide the actual address. The DMsGuild's mechanism for sending complimentary copies does not come with a link - instead you must input an address for it to send the copy to (I think, I don't know how it works exactly - all I know it is wants an address).
Those two automated systems are mutually exclusive, so some manual input is necessary.

I don't even know if a complimentary copy is even enough to be able to leave a review on the DMsGuild's site, but I am curious to find out.

Ah, OK, I understand. I will be setting up an official thread tonight with some basic information, but for right now you can use howardjekings at hotmail dot com.

Well, I think I just sent you two books but I'm not 100% on that. It is my first time using the complimentary copy feature and it turns out that it isn't particularly good at notifying success. I think it is claiming things went fine, but the process of displaying that notification implied otherwise.
