His works are timeless, and will continue to keep his memory alive. Today still, young children love his cartoons, not even knowing that some of them are older than their parents are.

BTW, not just children...

I guess everyone has to go sometime. The man was a genius and when he teamed up with Fritz Freilinger those were truly the best cartoons ever. If it ever tours again and comes to your town go to Bugs Bunny on Broadway. There is no other way to watch Chuck's work.

The man made opera fun for several generations...I heard the news and flipped on Cartoon Network and watch loony tunes all morning with my son. The man may be gone, but his work will live on....

May Chuck Jones rest in peace.

I watched his cartoons as a child and with my nephews. The humor is timeless. I think he should be honored as a man who brought more joy into this world than pain.

Chuck Jones left a great legacy.

My favorite toon is the one with Marc Anthony, the dog who falls in love with a little kitten. It's a priceless moment when he believes that the kitty (who fell in a bowl of cookie batter) was baked into a kitty-shaped sugar cookie.

He will be missed.

Although I haven't enjoyed looney tunes as of late I cannot discount his (and mel blanc's) ingeniuty. Yep... Chuck Jones, Charles Schultz, Jim Henson... Childhood (and beyond) heroes...

I think the one I will remember the most from him is "The Dot and the Line"
