“The Warlord shouldn't be a class... change my mind!”

Ha ha! No.
There's Different Types of warriors.... Different Types of training. ...It is viable to have 2 Warlord classes cause they come from different worlds or regions.....My Group Plays Not just planar but dimensional as well we have added the worlds of all spheres to travel to including Spelljamner.....In The World Of Arkaela The Class If The Illrigger is basically a form of Antipaladins..... With unique undead qualities because of who they serve in there sphere....There is Also 4-5 other Antipaladin Types By Alignment and Who They Serve..,The Same With Variant Clerics and With Variant Monks.....There is also Variant knights according to who they serve an geographical area.... There's A few Characters with the thief assassin abilities....here's an examplehttp://dndtalk1.blogspot.com/2013/08/dnd-creepypasta.html?m=1

The Warlord should ABSOLUTELY be a class!

Just one that is restricted to 4e games only.
Maybe 4e or lower....Older civilizations maybe....if time travel Technics worked in may be more than reasonable to consider it a older version of the new 5e Warlord...Which could lead to Ancient knowledge of the past and retrieveing relics and artifacts......There is I believe a Cleric class called Worshippers of the old God's....it be cool to run that as a old nemisis like the boxed set did Netheril.... And These 2 groups Could Easily be at odds with each other over old artifacts and relics and Ancient Knowledge...
