It's a trailer, they always lie. Just because the ship they step aboard in the next clip is the Titan, that doesn't mean that's what they were looking at.

He is canonically serving aboard the Titan! And SNW is crossing over with Lower Decks somehow next season.

And since Ryker has retired from Star Fleet, it must have been some time since the last incident with the Cerritos. Since William is the Better Boimler he better have made it to bridge crew by now!

Lower Decks is 2380, Picard is 2399.

I would say that's reasonable. I haven't been able to find a timeline schematic that shows "Lower Decks" and as far as I can remember there has been no mention of the Romulan supernova, anywhere in that show.
