okay this is a Catch-22, but if there was cheating I think it was all around, not just the West coast, not just the East Coast but perhaps from both sides. I'm from the East Coast, and yes I think the amount of votes for the East is unreal, I think there could have been people cheating on votes...

depending on where on the East Coast hurricanes may not affect it. not to pick on the central states but they get pretty hot during the summer, but so do the eastern states, not to nit-pick

it has been discussed and voted on already Willow... if this becomes an annual thing it should be rotated from area to area. yes it's hard the first year cause everyone wants it in their backyard.

I'd say Maryland/WV area cause we have some one offering to host it for us

I have to agree with Ruthia, central east coast, cause unfortantly thats where the majority of the players are. As for central east coast hurricanes usually aren't a huge problem actually we just get the remains (ie rain) from them. its more southern east states that get the actually hurricanes

but t hat's this summer not next when this is being planned for hehe :)

they are located in Western Maryland. as I have said they are working on how well it would work. there is a town nearby with hotels for people to stay in if they wish, they are reasonably priced. they own an old horse farm that has living quarters, think of like when you would go away to camp...

a friend of mine might be able to offer us his property to use, they have 12 acres of land... they are figuring out if it will be do able

camping is an good idea Nat! also a Renfaire ground, I can try to find out how much it would be for the one in MD. It has a huge field for parking and campers and the facility is really nice. Also there are many nice campgrounds all through out the country

for me it depends on the time of year but I spend most of the year in MD anyhow. So I'm best counted as MD, which is not the North East no matter what anyone says hehe it is Southern LOL though I think the South should be divided some cause Texas is South and then North Carolina, South...
