I was thinking about this some more, and I really like the idea. There does seem to be a bit of an issue keeping it balanced if the number of characters fluctuates (more characters taking stats each round dilutes the pool more quickly presumming high stats go first, and changing the number of...
Let's not get into the old male vs. female stat arguments. These discussions always seem to reach flame levels at blinding speed, and no good ever seems to come from them. Please drop the issue.
Unfortunately this is where you are incorrect. Expecting something like a constitutional right to free speech within a private forum like this (or the WotC boards, or where ever) is simply... wrong.
We certainly try to keep things fair, but unfortunately some debates get rather heated, and the...
I don't think legions of spell-casters are going to happen too often, so I'm not that worried about them. I think spell-casters need to be dealt with on an individual basis.
I'm now tossing around the idea of making a separate list of Battlefield spells that use their own mechanics. Some of...

I believe any automagic mailings from the board will have "EN World - Morrus' D&D/d20 News & Reviews Site Mailer [morrus@d20reviews.com]" as who it's from.
I'd expect some of it is spill-over from Slashdot... the link appeared on the weekend, so enworld server didn't get crushed, and the story had scrolled of the main slashdot page by monday morning. The back-to-school explanation sounds like a factor, too.
Re: Censoring a topic about Censorship
A couple of my thoughts about censorship and freedom and closed threads on the boards.
First of all, don't get me wrong. I'm as liberal-minded and free-speech-loving as they come. That said, this is not a public (in the political sense) arena for...
