I left d&d in 2011 after giving 4e a good three years. Played some Pathfinder, but that was unsatisfying. Now I'm playing 5e and loving it, as well as other games.

You might try: Icons Superpowered Roleplaying. BASH! Ultimate Edition. Heart & Souls. You can try Mutants and Masterminds but it may not be what you personally are looking for, based on your criteria.

Based on this thread there was interest in an Atlanta ENWorld gameday. I believe there are a couple of venue possibilities, and so long as there is enough lead time I think that this can happen. I am willing to step up and organize this thing. I believe that Atlanta has a great gaming community...

Once legitimately. My freshman year playing 2e when the guys got together to roll up characters, the guy playing the fighter rolls "00" legit first time. Never seen a legit one before or since.

Does the GM need to be the resident rules expert? Is it okay for someone else to be the expert, and the GM just have a good knowledge of the rules? Or is even the rules beyond knowing the basics (like what dice to roll) necessary to run a good game? Discuss.
