    Most Difficult Movie to Watch?

Mostly everything by Takashi Miike. Ichi the Killer is old, but one of the most painful movies to watch ever. I know, it's cheap ... but it works!

    Gamerprinter's Map Emporeum

That river crossing was great. Not the style I use usually, but recently I had to improvise during a session ... and yeah, this thread is great for that if you have a tablet at the gaming table. :)

GAME OF THRONES #3: Breaker of Chains ACT 42 Chapter 4-2014

People get raped IRL a lot more than they get crossbow bolts into their heads, getting killed by ghosts or getting their manly parts sawn off. And also, they are main characters, you usually do that kind of thing to extras only...

    New 'Battlestar Galactica' movie

It's funny, BSG (2004) is one of my absolute favorites and always will be. But the setting, mythology and factions are its least interesting parts. What made it work was great writing, amazing characters and tackling lots of philosophical topics. What are we going to get in a movie about that...

Recent board games and what I thought [add your own capsule reviews]

Asgard is an awesome, although very heavy game with with a welcome chance of setting (norse mythology). It's a card-as-action game with cards being available to everyone all the time, but usage being limited due to other players using up slots. There is no "you cannot do that" in this game...

(In WWF Voice) Let's Get Ready to Fumble!

Other systems mitigate the screw-up problems easily or at least let them happen a lot less. But then, fumbling has caused the funniest and most interesting scenes at our table. Basically it's entertainment (for some) for a special price. ;)

    Gamer Survey - please respond

Just out of curiousity, why would you even ask for ethnicity? I did not really mind the question, though I wonder why the question's there.

    Rules-Satisfying

"Rules light" is truly scary. I like narrative stuff, but that does not mean I have to deal with vague rules. I actually try avoiding it because I really dislike discussions on the table which arise from "light" rules. Sure, having to check at ten different pages for modifiers is in no way...

    Gamer Survey - please respond

Just took the survey. First time in one of those role-playing I did not get annoyed by bad choices. Thumbs up! ;)
