I don't think that warning you of an attack has nothing to do with respect. I don't ask you before any non-combat interaction and I might rob you of your time with chit-chat if you were talking to someone else, and that isn't disrespectul either, is it? That's pretty cool, but I don't really see what it has to do with this. I'm complaining about the fact that people just flat-out ignored this guy. And as a plus, I'm trying to say, that discouraging a mundane character from playing, is gonna encourage him to become a godmoder to call for attention.
