Full Stats for Infernal War Machine from Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus

Eh, those are NOT the stats for this thing, but for a smaller one. This one will be Gargantuan.

    D&D 5E Heroes of Baldur's Gate is a D&D Adventure From Bioware's Baldur's Gate Designer

Hmm, is this official WotC product or just third party release like the Kobold Press stuff? Might check it out for the nice artwork, but not that interested otherwise. Also might wanna correct the article title as the link says hereos. :D

If Spells and Abilities Were Written How My Players Use Them

This is comedy gold, love the Sneak Attack the best. :) More please! I do admit for the longest time I thought for reals that's how Charm Person worked, a lower level version of Dominate Person... That's because I only knew the spell from Baldur's Gate and other such games, where it actually...

    3D Printing D&D's Demon Lords

Ugh, these look pretty terrible... We already have a Gargantuan Orcus mini, and the Loot Crate Demogorgon is also a great Gargantuan proxy. As for the others, I would wait for Icons of the Realms to provide them eventually, though Yeenoghu and Graazt all have older miniatures.

Vecna v Acererak v Larloch? Who's The Most Powerful Lich?

The answer to this should be simple. Last I checked, after the events of "Die Venca, Die!" Vecna became a lesser god of secrets. Acererak is either a lich or demilich (depends on edition) but that's nowhere near deity levels of powerful. I am gonna admit though, never heard of Larloch.

Artist Tony DiTerlizzi Reflects On 25 Years of Planescape

I always loved Planescape, probably one of my favourite settings. It is Diterlizzi who made Modrons well known (the 1983 artwork of them is horrible) and the various mechanical parts and lenses have become the staple for them since then. Hard to believe we had to wait until last year to finally...

A New D&D Book in 2019: Acquisitions Incorporated Dungeon Manual!

I keep seeing this Aquisitions Inc everywhere and even checked a few of their videos but I still had no idea what this even was, a fanfic, a RPG session, an animation pilot... it wasn't funny enough to be parody and it was just a bit baffling why WotC kept promoting this. I mean, the guys kept...

    WorldOfDarkness.com Closing Down?

Great... so basically PC activists killed one of the oldest RPGs. Isn't there a parallel here between now and the 80ies? When similar people with nothing better to do than to ruin the fun of others tried to kill off D&D and fantasy in general saying it was satanist aand immoral? That likely puts...

Pathfinder Adventure Path #138: Rise of New Thassilon Arriving in Late January 2019

Is that Alaznist on the cover? I thought she was the runelord of wrath and a red-haired, always angry warrior-wizard... translucent frilly clothes don't really fit that image, I expected her to use some elven chain or some other armor wizards can wear without spell failure.

News Digest: White Wolf Dissolved, MORE New D&D Releases Announced, RPG Now Closing (kinda), and mor

Btw, it speaks volumes about the climate today that NOBODY in the company would admit to writing this section of the book... Yeah, we have come this far that people are afraid their career would be over if someone put the blame on them for writing a fictional version of a real life event. Let...

News Digest: White Wolf Dissolved, MORE New D&D Releases Announced, RPG Now Closing (kinda), and mor

Seriously, we had RPGs where you fought Hitler's brain in a robot body... on the MOON. Or where the nazis were revealed to be in league with aliens! And nobody thought that this somehow was insulting to all their victims somehow. But apparently you make one chapter of a book about vampires being...

    Epic Monsters: Drop Bears (5E)

Eh, I prefer the Zorbo, an evil koala that steals armor class from items, that is nastier.

Dungeon of the Mad Mage Level 15: The Obstacle Course

Lava Children? Man, never expected to see those creepy things again. I think no edition used them after 1E...

New D&D Monsters and More in Guildmasters’ Guide to Ravnica

Guilds that represent different philosophies, a giant city full of intrigue with portals to other worlds? Sounds to me like Magic the Gathering basically ripped off Sigil of Planescape to make this setting back then. Funny that now that they are owned by WotC, things come full circle.
